She could see the resolve in his eyes. She knew that he wouldn't hesitate to kill the queen if he thought her corrupt. "Please don't kill her majesty. She's helped me. She's not a bad person. Please. I'll do anything you ask. Just please don't kill her." She says as tears start to form in her eyes.

Atra shook his head. "That's for me to decide wither shes worthy of staying alive or not, King Per has put his entire family at the mercy of our kind, Avis people were kill for their feathers and I know your army's captured others and these people were peaceful so if you want your queen to live, I will give you the one chance to save her life.... get her to come here alone and without guards where we will talk but if she doesn't come and I cant get alone I will have to assume shes guilty of what Per was do this and you could save her life..... and that of her children." He let her go and let her look at him taking his helmet off he looked completely like a human. "Go now and bring her here."

"Alright. I'll bring her here." She said taking one last look at him. She hurried down the hall to reach the queen as fast as her can. When she finally did reached her she asked for a moment alone and started explaining everything. The queen agreed to come and meet the man alone and the two walk back to the room where the man was waiting.
"I brought her. Just like you asked."

He nodded and stood next to Avis. "My name is Atra Lupus De'sousa, I am a Nephilim assassin." He stepped to the side showing the body of King Per. "For his crimes against Avis' people." he put his arm around her. "He was removed from his rule of this kingdom which now falls on your hands.... Your answers to my question will determine the outcome of this day." He point to the bed to sit down. "What was your opinion of King Per, your husband." He kept his arm around Avis till she was ready to go.

Avis stared as the arrow as it pierced through his chest, she saw a spark of question as his dark and treacherous eyes lightened to their old lively color. He was at peace and he was thankful for his death. Avis realized there was a pinch of Per left, and he had wanted out that he was too far gone to turn back. She felt him go limp in her hands as he fell to the ground.
She couldn't help but stare at his body, at the empty shell, of the boy she had seen grow into a man. But in truth, it was what he wanted. Her hand flew to her mouth as Atra came to her side. She buried her face in his chest, kissing it and thankful to have him there, to always have him there.
She heard a gasp and a maid squeal, Atra spoke to her and then left for the queen.
While she was gone Avis reassured she was ready to pick up Atra and take flight whenever he was ready. She wouldn't leave his side as her hand traveled down his arm and laced with his fingers, squeezing them. She stole a kiss from his lips before the maid returned with the queen and stared at the royal woman, the Queen of their land.
She thought of her children and made a determination in her mind that if the queen needed help raising them, educating them about the world, about nature, about the animals, Avis would be there to help.
Thank you, she said to Atra as the maid walked in with the queen, she was grateful he had rescued her like he usually did. Whenever you're ready we can go get Iris.

He nodded and squeezed her hand before moving forward to sit across from the queen. "Now it is time to talk." He seemed like a gentleman now. "Here is your situation... Queen..... You run this kingdom now but your oldest son is at great threat, others will try court with you to gain power or kill you or your son for the power of the throne.... you can deal with that as you see but this is your danger right now... I want to know what you thought of the inhuman people and our kind." He looked to be thinking of something else. "And if you sympathize with us Queen I can help improve your kingdom but this is what will need to happen, okay? First you would have to name this kingdom as shared between us inhuman and you humans with Me and Avis representing the inhuman's and you and your son representing the humans we will protect each other.... us inhumans are better alive then dead.... but if you don't well you may be at more risk..... Queen will you accept this allegiance?" He looked serious and a man with a plan. "We will build our own settlement in another place but if you help us we can help you."

She sighed in relief when her queen agreed to the terms. She stayed even while the queen left. She wanted answers.

"I hold no ill will towards you for killing his majesty. Will you please tell me why? I would like to know."

I began to walk around. I walked upon the roof where there happened to be a half dragon girl with blond hair aqua blue eyes tattos that covered her body with blue wings and a blue tail and ears. "Who are you" I asked the girl.

I tilted my head at the women. "Im wondering are you friend or foe." I asked her.

The lady tilted her head and i said "Friend."

"Good" i said running up to her and hugging her. I laughed at her startled expression.

"Wooh back up i dont even know you and stop hugging me" I said yelling at the girl.

I backed up and began to cry. I sat down and cried. Then Alia a white dragon now smaller in size came up beside me and rubbed her head against my hand.

A white dragon bared her fangs at me and i heard her say *What did you do to her.* "Nothing i just dont know her and shes hugging me" I said to the dragon. I didn't like it when the little girl cryed.

He rubbed the side of his face. "He killed Avis' people like all the royals do just for little trinkets such as feathers, his soul was as black as my armor and there for his death shell lift the taint upon this land and well with us this land could thrive and prosper more then it had before." He went by Avis again and held her hand. "We should go tell Iris.... follow if you wish." he said looking to the lady as he used his ability to track down Iris. "Hmmm... alright lets go up to the roof shes up there with a lady." He started to walk with her knowing the Queen would announce whats happened.

The girl decided to follow him. For some reason, she knew she could trust him.
"Follow me. I know the quickest way to the roof."

He started to follow her. "You don't seem to have much hate or anything for the inhmans." He kept a hold of Avis' hand and the other was constantly on his sword ready for anything. "What is your name may I ask." He looked around them constantly.

Avis looked to Atra as she felt her spine shake from the warmth in his hand. Would you like to fly up to her? I could carry the maid..

She continued to walk up the flight of stares. "My name is Ava. At least, that's what they call me here..." she ended with a sigh. Many memories came back to her and it wa evident in her face.

He nodded to Avis. "Yes.. take her up to the roof if we are lucky arrow might be up there as well." He let go of Avis' hand after stealing a kiss from it and climbing out the window of the stairs scaling it as a human and not his flying form.

Arrow was still inthe room. Her back was leaning against the window. She was about ready to tak flight.

I saw as they came up on the roof. "Finaly some one sane will you tell this girl to stop crying" I said to them supressing a sigh. Then I saw the mermaid princess and i dropped to my knees and placed my hand over my heart. "My princess" I said to her. She was dressed in a maids outfit. "Why are you here if i may ask" I asked her still bowing.

"I see." she replied. "I assume you haven't been home in a while since you don't know. Father found out that I wasn't really his birth child and exiled me."

"Oh im so sorry and no i haven't been home for many years... If you ever need anything i am at your service. Also if you want to swim i have this wonderful lake attached to the sea so... Oh wait we need to leave dont we" I asked her. I looked over at the girl crying and said squating down "Im sorry would you mind giving me a ride to the woods please." She siniveled and nodded. She said standing up "Come on Alia." The dragon grew ig and i hopped on. "Princess are you coming."

Atra was the first to reach the top of the castle and as he did he took the bow off and its ammo and tossed it down to the lands below as he repositioned some armor pieces. 'Kings dead... treaty worked out.. this will now be shared with the in-humans.. so this is more ore less a safe haven for us now... and Avis is.. oh hello.' he says to the girl dragon.

"Good... Ill tell the animals to tell the inhumans" I told him. Then I spoke to a little blue bird by me to spread it around.

"Hello" I said standing up from where i was crying. I skiped over to him and said "You know your cute right" and i smiled at him.

I started to laugh at what she said. Not that Atra wasn't cute just that she said it.

Atra smiled a little bit and then chuckled a little. "Trust me I have a cuter from then this..... also.. I think instead of being in this castle, I want to work on building out own to coincide with the humans because well.... I've actually said that we would help them prosper at which point they will also help us.' he gave a small nod and smiled at the girl as he sat down. "Wanna see something cool?"

"Dont incourage her" I moaned hopping of the dragon. I walked over to the little girl and held her shoulders to make her stop.

Avis smiled to the maid named Ava, penetrating gently into the woman's mind as she extended her hand. Come with me, she said unfurling her wings and took the woman up to the roof.
There they were met with Iris and Atra once again. She landed gently she set the Ava down. Lacing her fingers together and closing her wings, she listened as it was brought to her attention that the woman named Ava was actually royalty. Avis blushed not knowing any better.
She then glanced to another woman with a dragon, conversing with Atra and she smiled, thankful to make new acquaintances.
